Canada is in North America. It is to the north of the USA. Look at the map. Canada
is painted green. It is the second largest country in the world.

But Canada has ten provinces and three territories.

the symbols of Canada. Sugar maple grows only in Canada. In autumn it becomes
red.

Teacher: The national flag is a symbol of any
country. So the flag of two red
stripes and one white stripe with the red maple leaf is the national flag
of Canada.

holiday of Canada – Canada Day. In 1867 Canada became a united country.

made of bronze.

three times Olympic Games took place. The last winter Olympic games were in Vancouver
in 2010. In this photo you can see this beautiful city.

and yellow.

mean forests, mountains and oceans; red means a maple leaf; yellow means the
rising sun.
